Default What does Dick Cheney do when the country is suffering?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11312757/

Apparently, if you want someone in office who will go hunting while the country is in dire need of some good leadership, you should vote for Cheney!

Think of all the things he could be doing that would be helpful to the country. But no, he had to waste his time killing of quails. Thanks, Dick.

You may think I am being rude and expecting too much from him. I mean, everyone deserves to have fun, right? My answer: hell no. Not if you drove this country in a hole that we can never get out of. Cheney should have expected being Vice President would take a lot of work, especially if he and Bush started a war, continously tempered Americans, and ignore threats of terrorist attacks.

God bless America.

Default To be honest, I think it would be far

better for America if Bush and Cheney spent the next 3 years on vacation.

Default Freak

accidents happen all the time!

my mom's bf is an avid hunterman who likes to bow hunt..
so, one fine day, he got up early, was in the woods with his buddies, pulled back his bow, and pulled back himself a BIG freakin' surprise...

he let go and somehow lodged an arrow straight up his forearm! after recovery, he took his hunting rifle instead and brought home a deer--I just LOOVE deer jerky mmm

back to the VP; let go of the cheap, pot shots

& if more people did kill and skin their own meat, perhaps the obesity epidemic would be eradicated..

Default What is the VP's role?

Almost nothing. So why do people get all up in arms when Cheney goes hunting? (and has a hunting accident)

I've never shot a compound bow (the kind I assume one uses for hunting), but I have shot a longbow many times. Maybe the two are fundamentally different (though I doubt it). But from my experience with shooting a longbow...how the hell do you shoot yourself in the arm with a bow?!?! Both of your arms are actively involved in shooting a bow, and well out of the way of the arrow. Seems to me that you would really have to try to screw up to pull that one off.

...or maybe people could just stop eating meat?

blah blah blah.. so much hate, party-headed people pick at everything. This only makes us all look hateful. Try loving & respecting everyone. Everyone in this country seems so "Party" dedicated that its tearing us apart.. USA should eliminate the use of parties all together.. every person should be independant with their own views.. the entire "partying politics" is the problem with government corruption.. focussing on knocking down a party, instead of knocking down the problems.

Not true in Cheney's case. He's got his nose in everything.

Why don't you try reading my signature? It clearly states I am a conservative Independent, so if anything, I would be a Republican. I don't pick fun of specefic parties, I pick fun of everyone. Try to pay some attention.
