Default What Are Your Core Values?

I highly recommend that everyone take this test. Other tests state the obvious. You know what you believe about the issues and you most likely know where that puts you on traditional political spectrums. However, this test, with remarkable accuracy, tells you what your inner values are and why you hold your stances on particular issues. It is only 16 questions long, and even if you have taken it in the past (possibly from my link in the political science forum), it is worth taking again. My results, for example, are right on. Remember that it is only 16 questions long, so give each question some thought if you want accurate results. Here is the link, followed by my results:

This test seems inconsistent.

Well, I do agree with the ideology that I was categorized in.

Here's what I don't understand. Why would someone categorized as Social Republicanism have the same "2004 Election candidates" as a person categorized as Social Democratism?

The quadrants aren't absolute boundaries. Xtro is close to the center, and Kerry's values are closer to the center than those of Bush. A person on the left would naturally be closer to Kerry than to Bush. It is a matter of where you land on the chart relative to the candidates.

Interesting. I have a feeling that Xtro didn't vote for Kerry though.
