I don't believe illegalizing porn would actually cause a great increase in rape. Rapists and mollesters are a whole different animal from run-of-the-mill, everyday normal perverts. But what it would do is create a stronger feeling of oppression in the public. The more oppressed people in general feel, the more they become either apathetic or subversive. It would create an underground porn ring that would probably be more disturbing than even the fetish rags that exist now, and backed up by violent cartel. In addition it would do more to undermine the freedom of democracy in this country (though that effect might be fairly marginal given the feelings of most Americans anyway).

porn would just go underground. Anyone who wanted it could still get it and we would see an increase in violence as those dealing in the underground economy fight to keep what's there's.

To deteriate the fetish of child porn, you must deteriate the image these child pornography viewers have for child porn.

It's the same way conservative deteriate liberals from speaking openly about anything.

You make it seem so fowl and bad and malicious that no one would ever want to do it.

Like saying Stalin, Hitler, or Saddam Huisen likes child porn. That might be true, might not be true. Or doing a bunch of other propaganda. Like stating that child porn causes AIDs and Death. Or that Child Porn causes cancer and hate between people for no reason at all. Anyway that you can aim at the entire public for them to dislike child porn.

Then no one, except a relatively few people would like child porn.

And then to get rid of the rest, you put a tax on distributed child porn and raise the price if it is been doing without the tax being paid. Maybe place the tax at ummm... ten billion. And raise the tax price at twenty billion if any child porn past threw that didn't pay through the tax.

Then child porn would be no more.

You could also make child pron so open that eventually it we become so dull and boring that no one would want to view it.

Like the truth that you can get more from a young girl over the age of 18 than you can from a girl under the age of 18.

Or state that girls under the age of 18 look completely like little fat boys with rashes and a clitoris rather than a penis.

The reason why child porn, underaged girls, are look onto so much is because of the imagery that is given to them. They are seen in the eyes of a young lolicon (lover of young girls) as being naive, easy prey, and having the physical attraction that older women give to males.

And that is why they are so common.

Take away that image and it'll be less of a problem.
