The person who started this thread is right of Bush. Paleoconservatives are outraged with the current administration's policies. I don't agree with paleoconservatism or neoconservatism, but without question, I prefer the former to the latter.

I can't help noticing that nobody has given any comments in response to Bartlett.
Is it fair to assume, then, that the consensus of the board is that Bush is just an aggressive chump with an agenda?

Bartlett is dead on accurate. But that's been known for awhile. Bush, IMO, is the worst of all worlds. He's a big government fiscal liberal, a big government social conservative and has a short sighted and dangerous foreign policy that in the long run does nothing to keep Americans safe. But besides that he' been a great President.
