Living in the republic of Georgia there is no surprise...
Living in the republic of Georgia there is no surprise for me that results of a special experiment, made by US Customs Service at the turn of 2005, have shocked everyone in the USA. As it has turned out, one can easily bring any radioactive materials through US state frontiers. It is clear the experiment was carried out in order to lessen the threat of "dirty bomb" run to America. There is no doubt such danger to US security has been for a long time. But the matter is that just now US secret service has obtained information according to which Chechens, based in Pankissi gorge in Caucasian Georgia, made such bombs on request of Pakistani Islamists. And they were ready to deliver it to USA at any moment. Nevertheless I think there are still grounds for hope if US authorities begin to abolish sources of "dirty bomb" danger instead of making nervous their ordinary citizens. So it seems to me it would be better for American special services to help our Georgian intelligence in getting Chechen criminal elements under control if our s-o-b Georgian president Saakashvili was unable to do it in his own steam!
