Todays' headlines are: Iran says fake Israel Regime cannot continue, another headline says Iran considers exiting nuclear treaty, then another says Blasts Rock Egypt -- this is our world now, there is no going back and we are screwed blued and tattood, and it basically rests on the shoulders of George Bush. We are alone now people. Our allies have left us. Even England has wised up to the war monger Bush, last week Tony Blair said we were on our own as far as Iran is concerned. Tell me, is there anyone here on this forum who will stand up now and say Bush is anything but a lying double-crossing war monger?

All we need is a smart leader who can solve our national problems without beating the bushes.
A leader can fight the war without actually sending our soldiers, turn our enemies into our friends, making peace without sacrificing our freedom, think globally instead of Texas Ranch. |

Yes it is too late. We have lost our position in the world as the most respected and diplomatic country in the world. We are at the bottom of the cesspool. Our change in world status paradoxically propelled rogue countries like Iran into a new position. We are viewed as bullies now, and other countries feel they can be more vocal about bearing nuclear arms. It's every man/country for itself now. Bush has turned civilization back 1000 years.

I disagree with today’s global economic perceptions. There are no nations There are no peoples There are no Russians There are no Arabs There are no third worlds There is but one whole system of systems. One vast and emain inter- woven, interacting multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. There are petrol dollars, electro dollars, and multi-dollars, there are deuschmarks, francs, rubles, pounds and yens. It is the international system of currency which determines totality of life on this planet. That is the natural thing of order today. There is no America, there is no democracy. There is only IBM, AT&T, Dupont, Exxon, Cisco systems, and Microsoft to name a few. Those are the nations of the world today!

It could have been worse...
We could have had Gore or Kerry as our President. President Bush isn't perfect, but I'm sorry, you can't lay all this at his feet. You're wrong for your claims. You're also too quick to judge, this isn't over by a long shot. Just because newspaper headlines say something, doesn't make it so. You've been drinking too much coolaid again. Despite the fact that there are areas where he and I disagree, I still support him. There. I may be alone but I don't care.

The first Al Qaeda attack on our home soil occurred during Clinton's administration. In fact, it was very EARLY in his administration.....and terrorist attacks against our country continued all the way through the end of his administration....the first WTC 1993 attack; the 1996 Kobar Towers bombing which killed 19 U.S. soldeirs and injured 372; the two Embassy bombings, the attack on the U.S.S. Cole and others. In 2004, the 9/11 Commission noted the possibility that Osama bin Laden may have helped the group that pulled off the Khobar attack on our military..... possibly by helping to obtain explosives. They also noted there is strong evidence that the government of Iran was the key sponsor of the incident. So, just because our government was in a stupor for 8 years of the Clinton administration and TOTALLY CLUELESS as to what was really taking place.......and YOU were obviously asleep that whole time.......................don't blame George W. Bush. And provide the quote of Tony Blair's statement that you claim he made regarding Iran. Thank you.
