This has been a good day with tons of good news. First Al Zarqawi is dead at the hands of the U.S. military and with help from the Iraqi's as well as intelligence from Al Zarqawi's own country of origin. Secondly, the Iraq's had a hand in getting him. Third, the Iraqi's have completed getting their Paliament in place. Fourth, the USS Cole returns to the Middle East!! And last, but not least, gas prices go down on the news, and the DOW does a dramatic, unbelievable turn-around from being down over 170 to being in the PLUS column!!!

Woo-hoo!! Today it only cost me $29 to fill my gas atnk as oppsed to $30 last week. Rock on!!

The rest of that stuff sounds pretty cool, though I have to admit, I don't feel anything special about the USS Cole returning to the Middle East.

And how lucky it is for the libs that Zarqawi got bombed yesterday. This way nobody's talking about the new Iraqi government which got the last positions filled and can now move Iraq forward.

Where on earth did Bush get the notion that Iraqis could ever build a democracy?!

It's impossible I tell you! They will never hold elections on time!
They will never get the Sunnis into the political process!
They're Arabs we can't force them to adopt democratic values!

The fact that they are Arabs doesen't mean they can't adopt democracy,it's not like the have a gene hat prevents them......It took thousands of years for countries to get democratic,you expect them to change their way of thinking in two seconds by a conquerer?

When will poverty levels go down and real median income levels go up to the 2000 levels in the US?

When will hunger and homeless levels return to their 2000 levels?

When will US troops stop dying in Iraq?
