I'm of the general opinion that the whole environmentalist movement is worthless. I am in favor of being eco-friendly, but in my experience groups solely dedicated to saving the environment have done very little good. It seems to me that they just go around protesting and having nice ideas without doing anything productive, and sometimes even doing things counter productive to their cause. For example, if it weren't for the green party, Al Gore undoubtibly would have been elected in 2000, and he certainly would have been more eco-friendly than Bush has been. So...eco haters and eco lovers convince me one way or the other. Are environmentalists worthless?

Are leftist political movements worthless? Hmmm, let me think.
