Default USA continues to develop a tendency of double standards

As we can see by the example of growing instability in the Caucasus USA continues to develop a tendency of double standards in its foreign policy. See for yourself! On the one hand America plays an active role in events, led to escalation of tension between Georgia and Russia, supporting all steps of Saakashvili and constantly consulting him in Washington. On the other hand US State Department appeals to both Georgian and Russian governments for peaceful reconciliation. But why can Washington call for de-escalation of conflict, in fact, promoting Georgian aggressive policy in the Caucasus? It seems to me USA is ready to activate own participation in settlement of “frozen conflicts” in this region and appear in fire-fighter face. But Washington has underrated Moscow’s opponent that still has high impact on Georgian business circles. In other words, world powers may again get to close quarters by reason of smaller nations’ problems (as happened when Cold War began). Maybe, it is time for Washington to awake to its past faults and stop following policy of double standards, which was acceptable for times of Cold War, not for present day.

Are you telling me that the Communist government for 80 years didn't antagonize the Georgians?
