I consider Confederate flags symbols of treason and slavery, and while their possession is a property right and citizens waving them is free speech, I think it is unpardonable that elements of Confederate flags exist in government flags and that Confederate flags or flags with elements of the Confederate flag are placed anywhere by any government in America. What is your opinion? I appreciate all replies. Thank you very much.

The Democrats had the gall to keep their party name after their fling with traitorism. "Democrat" That was their party name before the Civil War. "Democrat" That is their name today. This is the equivalent to Nazis remaining as a legal party in Germany. BTW the Nazi party including the Nazi flag, or anything resembling the swastika, is banned in Germany.

To be honest, Force, I think it's pretty obvious! I would skip the posts, but I have to read them as part of Mod duty. But I don't generally respond. Because then you get a response, which is what you are trying to avoid in the first place.

And if they have claims to being democratic; those of their citizenry who allow or 'support' such a position should be similarly recognised for what they are...unreconstructed bigots and racists, emotionally attached to historical emblems of same. Nothing difficult about that....

Well, as a citizen of this nation, I certainly don't. Would you, as a matter of policy, allow South Carolina, for example, to put the Confederate flag on government buildings such as its state capitol?
