I would vehemetly protest if I was told to surrender my 9mm. I think gun laws should be more strict. It should be harder to obtain a hand gun. There should be SEVERE punishment for NOT adhering to gun laws. For having an unregistered handgun, they should get at LEAST 2 years.

Please remember: someone has to step forward and say what's wrong---and be willing to back it by joining a group, a posse, an army, whatever it takes to affect that change. In the border cases it's so volatile (and stale) that now the option of violence-to-shake-status-quo now becomes even somewhat feasible in the minds of some people.
