Default EXCUSE ME?

Someone wrote that blaming the WTC attack on Bush was "disrespectful."

Disrespectful is continuing to read to a grade school class when your countyy's citizen's are under attack.

Disrespectful is blowing the crap out of a soveriegn nation under false pretenses.

Disrespectful is watching your buddies multi-million dollar bottom line grow by leaps and bounds while babies go hungry because there is no work

Expecting our leaders to do what they are supposed to di is NOT disrespectful

This has nothing to do with my point. As I already said I am not a Bush supporter, however I will defend him on this point. The idea to stay in the classroom was not his idea but his aides idea, a very clever one at that. Both Democrats and Republicans have agreed that he responded accordingly to prevent wide spread panic. His aides wanted everything to stay calm and him suddenly running out of a kindergarten room after hearing of 9/11 would not have brought calm. I suppose if you were him you would have made a mad dash for airforce1 on live television with millions of Americans viewing after hearing of a large attack against the US? This is actually the first time i've ever heard anyone say he did a bad job because he stayed in the room and read to the children, everyone else (Democrats included) have said it was a good idea.

I'm not saying that is disrespectful, I am saying blaming him for something that could have easily happened to any individual while in the oval office is disrespectful. The notion that him being the president at the time is the one and only reason the twin towers were destroyed is disrespectful to him, the US and everyone who has tried their hardest to cope with the tragedies that occurred that day.

You really think it is so simple to stop a terrorist attack like in 9/11? Please don't tell me you think they would still be standing if you were president.

You should be a lawyer.

"Your honor, driving that SUV over all those school children could have happened to anybody behind the wheel, and blaming my client for it is disrespectful, even though he was the only one there and his tire tracks are embedded in the children's bodies. I demand an apology."

All this time everyone thought that Al Queda was responsible for the WTC attacks... but it was really the president all along!

You, know think I read over at Moveon.org that (to date) Bush is also responsible for cancer, heart disease, that earthqauke in Iran, and the movie Gigli.

What fools we've been.

Default Ya know,

...it's one thing if a man steals something and puts it to good use.

It's quite another if he steals sometging and trashes it.

This post made absolutely no sense. That situation isn't even almost a representation of 9/11. Besides last time I checked the ones who were driving anything into anyone were the terrorists, not the president. By the way i'm in pre-law so yes your correct, I should be a lawyer.

I dislike how you force me to defend a man whom I don't hold much respect for, but making asinine assertions like the ones you've been making I feel I should at least ring out the truth from the fiction. Someone goes to http://www.whatreallyhappened.com often I see.

At least think before you post, please.

Default GOOD LUCK IN COURT, COUNSELLOR

If you finish up quick enough, they'll probably be trying W for at least the next fifteen years, maybe you could represent him.

Kind of like the blind leading the blind.

Yeah... is that your full rebuttal?

Anyway I think most democratic supporters here would probably say that Bush is an awful president but that everything you claim to be his shortcomings are in fact dumb statements created by yourself. You can blame the two wars on him, the troubled budget, withdrawal from Kyoto and probably one hundred other things on him but blaming him for 9/11 is stupid and you are blind if you honestly think he is the sole person to blame.
