Another government tax shill is exposed.
"Beware of Helpful Libertarians On the front page of today's Wall Street Journal, a story by Moncia Langley about a financial consultant, Genet JJ McNab, who nabs tax avoiders by posing as a blue-collar libertarian protesting taxes." Full article at: http://alina_stefanescu.typepad.com/...of_helpf.htmll Here's the situation in a nutshell. The court system is corrupt. That's why you have Irwin Schiff having to resort to an insanity defense - because when he tried to introduce Supreme Court decisions. The judge in his case screamed "Irrelevant!" Schiff proclaimed, "The Supreme Court is irrelevant?" And the judge again said "Irrelevant!" That is corruption and arrogance at its worst. The man wasn't allowed to present a case, as anyone can see from the transcript. Anthony Hargis wasn't even allowed a jury trial or an appeal. Why? He would have been able to enter his books as evidence and it would have proven that he was right: http://proliberty.com/observer/20050209.htm Secondly, a lot of people are arguing this wrong. They have not understood the totality of legal issues in the matter, so it doesn't take much for the government, with almost limitless resources, to beat them in court. But the income tax is a scam. In truth there are no tax protestors or tax evasion scams. There are only people trying to reclaim their rights from a deception, as the following case proves: http://www.givemeliberty.org/RTP2/UP...2006-06-09.htm This McNabb woman is using deception to entrap people and she is obviously a statist who likes high tax rates and would never consider that the government would lie in the matter. Yet that is exactly what the government has done.

Tale from an American Gulag, Part 1 http://www.strike-the-root.com/51/hargis/hargis4.html Part 2 http://www.strike-the-root.com/51/hargis/hargis5.html You're mischaracterizing yet again... As hard as it for you to believe - people have the right to keep the fruits of their labor - and the right to keep it in gold so that the value isn't destroyed by inflation. Regardless, even for hardcore statists, that doesn't mean he never gets a jury trial or an appeal. His appeal briefs have been filed. The appellate court is still just sitting on them, years later... And the case involves far more than his refusal of the court order. As for the first link, we'll try again: http://alina_stefanescu.typepad.com/..._of_helpf.html
