Thread: Chinese Communist Party: USA is "Immoral", "Irresponsible" and "a Farce"

  1. Default Chinese Communist Party: USA is "Immoral", "Irresponsible" and "a Farce"

It seems as if the Chinese are not at all happy with the way Obama and the Congress have handeled the U.S. debt crisis.

Before Barack Obama assumed the office as president in 2009, who would have believed the Chinese Communist Party would within two years of his election call the USA and our system of governance "immoral", "irresponsible" and "a farce"?

The problem, according to the Chinese, is Obama isn’t serious about the budget deficit. "As the Congressional Budget Office revealed in a January report, the deficits generated by the Obama administration are the largest since the end of World War Two, after two years of unchecked and out of control federal spending.

Since President Obama took office in January 2009, the United States has embarked on the most ambitious failed experiment in Washington meddling in US history. Huge increases in government spending, massive federal bailouts, growing regulations on businesses, thinly veiled protectionism, and the launch of a vastly expensive and deeply unpopular health care reform plan, have all combined to instill fear and uncertainty in the markets."

Here is what the Chinese Communist Party has to say about this latest situation.

Chinese Communist Party: USA is "Immoral", "Irresponsible" and "a Farce"

The mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party has castigated the United States' handling of its debt crisis as "irresponsible" and "immoral", saying in an editorial that the U.S. democratic system was to blame for the "farce".

The official People's Daily newspaper accused U.S. politicians of "sacrificing other people's interests in exchange for a few votes", adding that "not a single representative has considered the world, and even U.S. national interests are being banished from the mind".

It said elections next year meant that each representative was unwilling to risk being tarnished with "the crime of giving way".

"The voting system has restricted the White House's power to act," it said. "The farce taking place on the U.S. political stage has let the whole world know where the United States' political problems are."

The People's Daily commentary appeared under the byline Zhong Sheng, a pseudonym that sounds like "Voice of China" or "Voice of the Centre".
While the newspaper does not represent the official position, it often reflects some of the debates going on in senior government circles.

You can thank CORPORATISM for this U.S. deficit crisis.

Whatever. When all the superheroes form a Justice League of China, China can talk.

Beijing is a Prison, where People go Mad:http://www.thedailybeast.com/newswee...mare-city.html

Beijing is two cities. One is of power and of money. People don’t care who their neighbors are; they don’t trust you. The other city is one of desperation. I see people on public buses, and I see their eyes, and I see they hold no hope. They can’t even imagine that they’ll be able to buy a house. They come from very poor villages where they’ve never seen electricity or toilet paper.

Every year millions come to Beijing to build its bridges, roads, and houses. Each year they build a Beijing equal to the size of the city in 1949. They are Beijing’s slaves. They squat in illegal structures, which Beijing destroys as it keeps expanding. Who owns houses? Those who belong to the government, the coal bosses, the heads of big enterprises. They come to Beijing to give gifts—and the restaurants and karaoke parlors and saunas are very rich as a result.

Beijing tells foreigners that they can understand the city, that we have the same sort of buildings: the Bird’s Nest, the CCTV tower. Officials who wear a suit and tie like you say we are the same and we can do business. But they deny us basic rights. You will see migrants’ schools closed. You will see hospitals where they give patients stitches—and when they find the patients don’t have any money, they pull the stitches out. It’s a city of violence.

Unequal distribution of wealth and power will do the trick, every time.

And we care what China thinks of us why?

Ha! Good comparison, actually. But the Eight Immortals are provincial, even if the province is a religion, or even all of China. The Justice League of America is responsible for the entire globe, made up of many nations (as only America can do).

Though I could easily see one of the Eight Immortals joining the Justice League of America. The league already has (immortal) Themysciran and Atlantean royalty, as well as the last survivors of two god-like extraterrestrial species. It's not like the Chinese would be slumming.

When the USA gets to the point of China, then you can complain. Until then, it's just fearmongering and making mountains out of molehills.

Isn't that what you people want?
