Default Robots Are Losing Their Jobs To Cheap Overseas Labor!

For those of you who believe that companies are going overseas due to Democratic policies that are "stifling" business, then check out this article I just found. Unfortunately, this poor ROBOT wasn't working hard enough to keep his job. If robots can't work efficiently enough, then how can humans? Does this enormous migration of jobs overseas really have to do with the business climate here? Or does it have to do with the fact that everything overseas is simply CHEAPER?

OUR TRADE DEFICIT LIVE - This year alone, over $400 BILLION DOLLARS has LEFT our economy in the middle of a recession. By the end of this day, over a BILLION DOLLARS will LEAVE our economy.

Yes everyone knows everything overseas is cheaper. So how can America make its products cheaper with people like you doing everything you can to drive the cost of labor and production through the roof?

I mean really lets look at your scenario

    Today

    China Widget: 8 bucks

    American Widget:16 bucks.

So rather than find a way to bring the American widget down to 7.50.. you want Government to force us all through a tariff to pay 16 bucks for either widget.

Americans instead of paying 16 bucks, just won't buy the widget. How can anyone have a job if no one buys the widget?

Maybe the answer isn't on the "make things cheaper" end of the equation, but rather on the "make things more valuable" side?

I think we should use robots, but we need to make them run more efficiently. The "lack of need" is the reason why companies aren't investing enough into this revolutionary new technology. The fact that India has robots that run more efficiently than ours is SOLID PROOF that we're not investing enough into it. The US is supposed to be the leader in this field but we're not.

My Fruit of the Looms are no more valuable whether made by a Chinese Seamstress or an American one. The only "value" comes in the price.

I don't want to pay 20 bucks for a pack of American Made Fruit of the Looms when I can get the same Fruit of the Looms for 5.99.

You can't extract value from common consumer products like that. Which is the bread and butter of our economy. Dollar store (*)(*)(*)(*).

This is up to individual companies to invest. What do you expect Government to do about it?

Invest in robots and your Fruit Of The Looms will fit just as comfortably and be of the same quality for the SAME PRICE.

I expect government to balance trade and PROTECT OUR WEALTH. So far they're not doing a very good job at it.

What if the American-made Foot of the Looms were worth forty bucks and cost twenty?

I'm not sure how you make underwear worth forty bucks. But I'm sure it exists.
