I like a lot about democratic candidate Barack Hussein Obama (an up-beat message, incredibly articulate, not much "baggage", etc.) But if he gets the presidency, and the kind of world-wide attention that that garners, will some terrorist-type kill him because he committed the ultimate sin in Islam: leaving it, and becoming a Christian?

Tell me if I have any of these facts wrong, please:

1. His dad was a Muslim, when Obama was born.

2. ...in Islam, this makes him born a Muslim. (And no, not just because his middle name is the same as Saddam's last name.)

3. He also went to an Islamic school, oversees, for the first X years of his life.

4. The Islamic texts say to KILL apostates, just like Mohammad did.

5. Obama *chose* to leave Islam, to become a Christian.

6. Incredibly, even today, Muslims want to kill apostates. I read a CNN article about Abdel Rahman (sp?) who converted to Christianity like Obama, and was going to be killed by the UN-approved GOVERNMENT of Afghanistan recently, until he was wisked away by Italian authorities to a civilized nation.

7. He'd be the leader of the one country standing in the way, the most (and the "Great Satan" according to Hizbollah), of the world-wide Caliphate that Muslims want. This only gives them MORE reason to want to kill this particular apostate....I'm not sure
that anybody on the planet would deserve it MORE, in their minds?

8. Muslims hate apostates MORE than they hate non-believers, because non-believers (Koran 9:29) are only subjected to Apartheid-like "Dhimmi" status, and usually not killed, if they agree to live as second-class citizens under Islamic Sharia law.

But, if the Coalition pulls out of Iraq now, won't the Sunnis and Shia somehow magically put aside 1400 years of religious animosity towards each other (each considers the other "apostates" of Islam) and kick Al-Qaeda out, and come into the civilized world?

Oh, hell yeah! Not only that, but if the Hildabeast becomes Socialist Premier of the United States, rainbows and puppy dogs will rain down on Iraq, and people of all nations will fall over each other with love and prosperity, and share big bowls of ice cream with little sprinkles on it!

Well, Al-Qaeda has come out and said many times that they want us in Iraq so they can kill as many Americans as possible and teach us a lesson we'll never forget. Besides, Iraq is now just a breeding ground for Al-Qaeda. They have had huge gains in membership and more and more people are joining.
