Thread: An Excellent Opinion on the Decline of America.

Default An Excellent Opinion on the Decline of America.

Like O'Reilly or not, this successful commentator/journalist nails the issue of "America in Decline".

O'Reilly's article covers a comprehensive explanation with the use of the irrefutable facts of History, statistics, and a persuasive set of conclusions that, to my mind, are indisputable.

Still, predictably, the Political Idiots of the Owebamarrhoidal ilk, will find fault with O'Reilly's brilliant analysis.

These brainless twits will insist with the predictable over-reaction of the OWS, and the Commie/ Socialist Agenda of the Monumental Mendacious Fraud and Racist OwebamaCrapster, to what is a reasonable Governmental Saety Net ....... and require a Government mandated Entitlement System similar to, or in excess of, that FAILED, or FAILING European Socialistic System, our Political Mendacious Charlatan OwebamaCrapster is crafting ..... to the detriment of any hope of our beloved America recovering from the depredations O'Reilly has perceptively listed.

And, if this Monumental Mendacious Fraud, Commie/Socialist, Racist OwebamaCrapster gets re-elected.......then say farewell to the ENLIGHTENED CAPITALISTIC SYSTEM (buttressed by our Great Constitution, the most wondrous Political Document the World has ever known).

The ENLIGHTENED CAPITALISTIC SYSTEM (controlled by our Constitution) made us the Greatest Nation the World has ever known for over 200 years.

As stated, all of America's achievements will go up in smoke, if there will be the SYSTEMIC CHANGE that the Monumental Mendacious Fraud, Commie/Socialist, Racist OwebamaCrapster is in the process of achieving, by replacing the ENLIGHTENED CAPITALISTIC SYSTEM with a shopworn, Historically Documented FAILED Socialistic/Commie System......which, if this Mendacious Political Charlatan OwebamaCrapster gets re-elected, will degenerate into a predictable COMMUNISM. Hopefully, not a brutal Communism of a Stalin or Mao....but a DISASTROUS COMMUNISM nevertheless.

Here is the link to O'Reilly's article (a must-read):

Sometimes he does.....most times he does not.

That's what a significant number of celebrities do.

Excellent article by O'Reilly, but I suspect he may be in trouble now as it looks as if he may have plagerized me in giving us all the reasons America is in trouble. I suspect I'll be getting a call from Mr. O'Reilly very soon so as to help smooth out his copycat posting.

That article is right on. I especially liked this part:

If you study history, you know that America was built on self-reliance and personal achievement. In the early years of the Republic, the federal and state governments pretty much stayed out of the way as folks built businesses and communities. There were absolutely no public safety nets. If you failed, it was up to you to survive.

Because of that circumstance, the citizens of America became strong. The motto "Don't Tread On Me" was absolutely appropriate. Hardship was accepted as a part of life. Self-sacrifice for the good of others was the order of the day. Cowardice and narcissism were condemned everywhere.

And so the world's greatest and strongest country was built. Not by pinheaded bureaucrats, but by the blood and sacrifice of hardworking folks.

    G'luck on that.

BTW, I could make the same claim you do.

In general terms I like O'Reilly and I think he's a good person in the sense I believe he has his heart on the right place.

What he, and many other Americans, don't seem to realize is that America isn't -- and never can be -- a peaceful island in a wild Ocean.

How, for instance, is America going to compete with countries who invest massively in their people by e.g. providing free (or almost) higher education? You can find this ideologically disturbing, but the results are what count. As a result of this massive investments of European and Asian governments, now *economic mobility* and *economic growth* are higher in many European and Asian countries.

Until reading this paragraph, I didn't know Bill was such an authoritarian. Apparently he's anti-individualist and believes suspicion of authority is a character flaw.

That rather disturbing paragraph is incidental to his main point, though: that our current problems are largely caused by debt incurred from entitlement programs. And on that point, he nailed it: if not for Medicare and Social Security, the government would be rolling in cash that it could use to stimulate us out of this mess. One of the greatest flaws of the modern USA is that we, the people, demand so much free stuff from the government.

Did Bill miss the part where America transitioned from capitalism to corporatism? I see that he failed to denounce the costs of the wars that have immeasurably benefited our nation.

But what else can you expect from the war/corporate profiteering media whore brainwashing the Fox masses?

The State has never been created by a "social contract"; it has always been born in conquest and exploitation.

An incomplete and regurgetated opinion is usually the same as a lie and a propaganda: the only way to sell the propaganda is to first tell a lot of regurgetated truths
Don't care about the rest of your article/opinion as soon as fox/oreilly was mentioned.
