Good evening America. Today is the whenever the founding fathers stood up to the British and signed the Declaration with their names. Putting their lives in jeopardy for a country which they would never see the full growth of was a monumental and courageous action which created opportunity and freedom for millions upon millions of people. 231 years later we have advanced their vision in many ways from bringing civil rights to colored people to defeating both fascism and communism. The United States is truly a beacon of light to the rest of the world. However, today there are new threats to our freedom and liberty that need to be addressed.

Islamic terrorism has threatened our society and has killed millions of people. Terrorists such as Saddam Huisane, Osama Bin Laden, and Al Zarqowi have murdered thousands upon thousands of innocent people for their beliefs and the fact that they opposed them. We cannot ignore this continuing threat, especially with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda re-assembling. The amount of ridiculousness I have seen in this country regarding this issue is simply unacceptable. And for those who deny the war on terror exists i have a message for you, wake up and look around, because if you do not you will awaken in a world in which their is no freedom. Instead of being searched at an airport for weapons you will be searched in an interrogation room for your beliefs and then slaughtered.

There is another threat, however, which is more subtle and less obvious. That threat ladies and gentlemen is in our own country. And they are in our courts right now fighting against our founding father's vision for freedom and values. Organizations such as the ACLU game the justice system to take away the religious expressions Americans cherish and to give criminals a pass. They have fought to prohibit all symbols that even hint at Christmas to be removed from the public's view. And on top of that they have defended child rapists in court and opposed legislation creating a buffer zone which would keep our children safe from child predators. Do you want this to be America's future? I promise that if elected into office that I will do everything in my power to keep this organization or any other group of individuals from harming our values, our traditions, or our constitutional rights as citizens of this great country. And will continue to support the freedom and values on which this country was founded.

As I conclude this speech, I applaud our courageous soldiers who valiantly fight for our freedom abroad. Everyday they put their lives at risk for the safety, freedom, and security of everyone at home which is beyond commendable and deserves the support and admiration of every American across the nation. Thank you and God bless America!

Give it up Fred because people are tired of this going over there and trying to wipe out Islam because there is too much of it. We do want the fanatics of it that are waging a war with America and waiting for 2009 to start and that we hopefully will have a president in office that will go after who we want and not just an old arch-enemies of his. We want George Bush's friend Osama bin-Laden whether it hurt George or not to get him. Once we get Osama then we should put our military over here and all around the borders and keep this country from becoming the nightmare that you are describing in your letter. We can make sure that 9-11 won't happen again if we put all our concentration in it instead of warring with unchangeable countries.

First off...I congratulate you for toning down your harsh rhetoric. However, there are a few holes in your premise.

1) You're assuming that by just "going away," the Islamic Fascists will let us live in peace. Unfortunately, you're very far away from the truth. By "circling the wagons," and taking a defensive position, you're allowing them to strengthen, fortify, and encircle us, with all the time they need. "Remember the Alamo." It is literally impossible to guard 100% of our borders. They WILL get in. Our country is just too big, and no army in the world can defend every mile of its border. There IS some good into fighting them there, instead of here.

2) I do not believe that American citizens are "tired" of fighting the Islamic Fascists. If anything, we are tired of them threatening us. We will NEVER...EVER...be allies with them. They hate us, not for what we've done to them, but for what we are....infidels. It is in their nature, whether you believe it or not, to destroy us, simply because their god tells them to. I think very very few people in this country truly understand what it's like to combat a relentless enemy who will sacrifice everything, in order to kill as many infidels as humanly possible. These are people that do not watch TV for "fun." They do not have "jobs." They do not have "girlfriends." They do not care about anything that we do. They wake up every morning with one, single goal....kill infidels. America needs to wake up and realize that it's either fight or die with this sort of enemy. (Just remember...I'm talking about the extremists. Not simple muslims who live amongst us in peace.)

First, let's not triple-post the same article, although it is interesting how Ghandi viewed as great hero in most American textbooks(and in all fairness did some great things) wanted the Us to surrender.

And yes I am voting for Mr. Thompson for president in 2008, he is an all-conservative candidate who doesn't cut corners on issues and fights for values.

Boogie I know all about what Islamic ideology is all about and their goals. Their goals is to turn the whole world into an Islamic Utopia which is what the Koran calls for. But it says in the Koran that there will never be an Islamic Utopia until all infidels [people who don't believe in what they believe in] are slayed. That is why all these martyr-wannabes have no other life or no other goal but to work on destroying all the non-muslims in this world because they see themselves as being a historically famous and martyr-bounded if they cause as much hurt as damage to non-muslims as they can.
Since Islam is such a dominating and very dangerous religion then I am all for destroying Islam but it is too big to do it, but I sure do agree it need to be done before it turn life and the world into a very dastardly nightmare. Islam is all over the world and we can't just go to Iraq and think we are goin to destroy Islam, this is just like going to Vietnam and think we are going to destroy communist when they have floods of help coming in it's back door from Russian and China. Same with Iraq when it is going to have floods of help coming in the doors all around it from it's neighboring Islamic countries. It is just going to be a bottomless pit of killing off all our youngs for something that will never get better just like the Vietnam war was because the war is situated in an area that is in the middle of the problem.
Sure we shouldn't circle the wagon but we do need to take note if you don't realize it but this whole side of the world was almost devoid of muslims until of lately and we could keep Islam out of this side of the world if we would work at it instead of trying to get it out of the middle of where it all is. We are wasting our military might and all our soldiers over there when we could be fighting to keep Islam out of this side of the world and for them to stay over there on the old side of the world with their old time ideology and make this the most modern side of the world and research moderism into making things that will defeat them and they will never have a chance against us because we have advance so much and have so much to fight them with.
Also take note that those people over there can't get along with each others at all and if we'd leave them all alone then eventually they will all kill each others off hopefully since they are all so crazy. I am one who rather put logic before anything else and to me this is going by logics.

So what are you saying? Ban all muslims from entering the country? Kick all current muslims out?

You read me very well. I am for keeping this side of the world safe from such a dangerous and very dominating religion than I am for sending our youngs over there to slaughter and go in their bottomless pit of wasted blood.

Back to the point:

I agree. Once Fred throws his hat in the ring, he will automatically become the "best fit" for Presidency, on the Demopublican side. However, that's just saying how poor the current set of candidates is. Giuliani is fading fast. McCain is just about done. Romney is hanging on by a thread. ...and Ron who?

Unfortunately, I think Fred's taken too long to commit. He better have himself a rock-solid plan, because the sheep aren't going to consider him a legitimate candidate.
