Fox News, and other stations refused to mention him for several months even though he was in the top 4 in the polls over those months. It didn't get mentioned until John Stewert talked about it on the Daily SHow...and that is sad....that a comedian is forced to do what the real media is supposed to be doing.

Yep. There are some core principals he shares with the other candidates, but that's about it.

Well you got me there I guess...I'd substitute in the word "republican" in place of "conservative" though. Close enough though I suppose. I just don't like "conservatives" trying to excuse themselves from the damage THEIR republican party has done to society by calling themselves "conservatives" instead. They're REPUBLICANS....plain and simple.

Ron Paul is an old school con though. He is against needlessly spending money on wars and wants to pull out of not only Iraq and Afganistan, but even pull troops out of Japan, Germany, and many other countries where we've had a standing force for the last 70 years.

He also is for limiting the corporations' and special interest groups' power.

And he wants to abolish all federal drug prohibitions and leave all drug laws for the states

He has a lot to offer people of every political persuasion. This is a once in a lifetime deal here, who knows how long before another honest and intelligent politician comes along.
