No, Bushco did. That's why our borders remain unguarded. If our esteemed president doesn't think 9/11 was important enough--fact is, he at first cut the budgets for first responder funding--why should any of the rest of us? When the prez makes excuses for passing the Patriot Act but lowers our actual defenses--especially by stretching home defenses thin by sending troops to Iraq, which didn't attack us--the actual terrorist threat can't possibly be serious...unless...what you're willing to do is call the prez a sham. That works, too.
They would have to forgive us for giving 'em Saddam in the first place, and they haven't really gotten over that one yet. If we hadn't had lined his pockets in the first place, he wouldn't have been there to remove.

I can't believe that people actually believe what Michael Moore says. I seriously fear for this country, I think that we are headed towards disaster if people actually believe such negative things about our country. It is one thing to identify our problems, it is another thing to identify our country as the whole as the problem and say that every American is stupid. But hey, you can believe whatever you want, even if it is completely ridiculous. This is both the strength AND weakness of our country.

At least Mike can cite research sources better than Newsweek to back up his claims. I have yet to see a detractor do that. Basing one's vote on the unfounded inaccuracies produced by his detractors are cause enough to worry--it proves that too many people can be fooled too much of the time. What Mike says, Mike can prove. Mike should be running for president, he's more reliable.

but he is a very talented spinmeister. So was Goebels. And I'd take the word of Newsweek (as liberal as it is) over anything Moore has to say. In the realm of respect it's like comparing Robert Kennedy to Castro.

Did I miss something here & write that rapes by whirs are perfectly okay with me? Rape is rape no matter who does it. And BTW, I had just left work that night & was walking to the bus stop when a black man came up from behind me & dragged me 3 blocks. he then turned me around & licked my face & said he was going to 'rape the *ucking &hit out of my white a$$. It was then that I kneed him & ran away. When the cops caught him & confessed that he was going to take me to the ally to rape me. So I guess he was not taking me there to talk. I am not white-knuckled afraid of anything. So please, don't presume to know me or my fears. You only made yourself look like an idiot.

You really are fixated on this whole white/black issue. In my original post I responded to a bunch of quotes, yet you are the one who focused on that one quote, not I. I happened to respond to the one quote from you that actually made some sort of sense. All the others were just senseless babble.

It all comes down to this. MM is a manipulator & a liar. He has been proved wrong so many times that it is laughable. He has been proved to bend the truth &/or outright lie. He uses fancy editing to make himself look right & his point of view look justified. I will not provide links to prove this since many, many, many links have been provided in many, many, many posts already that prove this fact about MM.
