Question Are you going to watch Obama's "State of the Union" speech tonight?

Just a simple question, with no political bias in the poll options one way or the other. But feel free to add your commentary, of course....

No and I doubt most of the Obama supporters here will watch it either. If they paid more attention to the man they'd quickly realize the man is a boob and their world view would be shattered.

Only way I'd watch is if we have a live thread going on this forum. Unfortunately, the site's running so slow, I doubt if it can handle that... so I prob won't watch. Can't stand all that head-swivel the man does to keep up with TOTUS. Besides, previews say it's gonna be more class warfare... who needs it?

I'd watch if there was a drinking game to go along with it.

Take a drink every time he makes a strawman argument?

I'm going to pass on President Messiah's pep rally tonight. He'll get up there and bray around about "getting" Osama, bringing the troops out of Iraq (only after we were practically shoved out by the Iraqis), and making the economy as *wonderful* as we see it today -- paid for by plunging this country deeper into catastrophic levels of debt in three years than "W" Bush did in both his terms put together.... I wonder if he'll take tonight's opportunity to repeat his demand for ANOTHER $1.2 TRILLION DOLLARS to float his "fraud balloon" through the election....

But Obama had better be careful... during the campaign he's going to have to run on his record, and not on any more fairyland promises about "hope and change". We may have been turned into a dumbed-down citizenry, but surely we aren't that stupid today....

No Pollycy, I will not be watching it. Frankly, I don't believe a word that comes out of that man's mouth. His speeches are all the (*)(*)(*)(*) same anyway, he tries to be charming and intellectual when reality is he is just a snake in the grass who hasn't done a (*)(*)(*)(*) thing to improve this country.

Oh I am quite sure that in his eyes, and those of his supporters, he has done everything he set out to do and more!

I’m sure the “know-it-all’s” will not watch the speech but will most likely grace us all tomorrow with the "knowledge" and “expertise” on the speech. That’s usually as common trait among the ignorant. Thankfully, that’s all the edge that intelligent ever needs to defeat the uninformed.

Carry-on and have a lovely day

Tomorrow is the final day of the duck season for me, so I have to go get in line tonight. If it is on the radio i will listen, but I am not going to watch it.
