I think what we have here is a severe case of rose-colored glasses syndrome. The OP wants to take it back to 1967 when people were more "moral" and less promiscuous??? 1967?? I wasn't around at the time but history books tell me that '67 was "The Summer of Love" and people were boinking each other left and right, every which way but Sunday. I mean, seriously, the late 60s are NOTORIOUS for "free love" and naked people in the park.

So much for the promiscuity bit. As for the morality, well I don't see anything moral about forcing young men to die in a foreign country fighting a war that was never intended to be won...

That is largely a myth.

And college students doing stuff at Woodstock or whereever is not as bad as 14 year olds having group sex.

Just look at the huge rate of illegitimate births compared to the 1960s and early 1970s to today. And that is despite legalized abortions and easy access to birth control.
