The founding fathers were just men no different from politicians of any era. Including those today. They were not gods and the Constitution is not written in stone.

Head-in-sand has such a great track record.

But when it comes to expecting consenting adults to adhere to no sex unless married, I have to draw the line. It's not my place, or anyone else's.
and if you are convinced that what consenting adults do has a negative effect on the society you live in and PAY to help maintain?

    I don't believe that for a moment.

You're talking about a group that thought counting slaves as "3/5ths of a person" was some kind of brilliant thinking.

    Be honest.

That is the kind of thing you would expect out of our modern congress.

no they didn't. Even Frederick Douglas knew the lie in that. I'm surprised at you. Well. not really. I just see that the public education system has done a fine job on you.

Yeah, they might end up like me...married 16 years, with a 2000sqft farmhouse on 5 acres, a small fleet of cars, a garage equipped every bit the equal of many professional auto repair shops (except a lift...I want a lift). Oh, the horrors.

A trench can replace a lift, for many purposes; just park the car above it. But be careful.
