Default the dream cabinet

So, what's your Dream Cabinet look like?

(no, that's not a new progressive rock band - I'm talking about the one that works for the President of the United States! ) -

So, like, I'll start -

I'll do a "conservative cabinet" 'cause I'm a conservative, but you know, feel free to do a "liberal cabinet" if you wish, or a Ron Paul cabinet, or whatever....

Um... so.... okay, I'l start here - I'd like to make use of the some of the talents and interests of some of the current Presidential candidates -

For instance - on the Republican side, we have guys like Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo.

Duncan Hunter, would make a great Secretary of Defense, IMHO. I mean, listen to the guy - he knows, like, everything about everything that has anything to do with the military. He's totally on top of that game - you start asking him about troop deployments, and he'll start pulling numbers about how many cooks are needed to support a batallion and how many plane-loads of food they'll be needing, and I mean, he pulls this stuff out of the top of his head, right? It's all sittin' right there, I mean, they guy must go home every night and study Jane's like the freakin' Bible or something..... you know, and I mean, that's exactly the kinda guy you want as your SoD, right? Someone who's so "on top of his game", that when the Prez asks him a question, he doesn't need to say, "let me go ask the experts and hit the books, and I'll get back to you in two hours" - he just says, "yes, Mr. President, here are the options as best I understand them, given our current capabilities", and so on - I mean, I kinda see Duncan Hunter as being "just about perfect" for the SoD job -

And then, Tom Tancredo - there's gotta be an important job for him, in a conservative administration, right? I mean, that guy is totally hip to the immigation situation in the United States, and you know, if we're talking enforcement, which is (unfortunately) a button that's going to have to be pushed at some point, if only to give We the People a good swift kick in the pants to encourage us to make up our minds.....

You see where I'm headed with this, right? I mean, some of these guys, are like, doing this country a national service just by campaigning for President, so they can get these issues on the table - I mean, Richardson, on the Dem side, there's another one, you know, he's like a great education guy - I wouldn't let him anywhere near foreign policy, but he knows a lot about education, and he is definitely tuned into all manner of domestic issues, and you know, if I'm the Prez and I'm interested in having my government perform as an effective partner in terms of social services and so on, then Richardson's exactly the kinda guy I'm lookin' for, right? He's my "good cop" to Tancredo's "bad cop", right?

So, what would your ideal Cabinet look like? Who's you like to see in positions of importance?
