My wife is from Texas and seeing promos for the show made her curious enough to watch it, without knowing what "GCB" stood for.

Ehh... I'll give it a chance.

This time, I think they let the cat out of the bag... This neurotic bunch loathes anything that has to do with Christianity, Tradition, or Wholesomeness. If you ever wondered how "they" felt about "us", well, here's your answer...

Maybe it's just me, but this kind of flagrant behavior is going to come back and bite the Old Tribe in the ass at some point in the future. They can't get away with antagonizing their host population to this degree indefinitely.

GCB sounds offensive, but Christians are a majority; if they spread the word and boycott the show it probably wont stay on air for long. If enough Christians are willing to boycott it of course...

To refrain is to abstain from an impulse, lol.

I already know how this show is going to be. Women who call themselves Christian yet their lives from an outsiders point of view are indistinguishable from a secular/atheist/ non-christian woman. That is misrepresenting Christianity and is quite frankly bull (*)(*)(*)(*). God never said we'd be able to shed sin easily, there are struggles. These women don't even struggle with it, they embrace their worldliness.

While loudly condemning everyone else for their sins. Sounds like a typical evangelical to me.
Firm believer in the right to bear arms, Pro choice, The war on drugs is a complete failure, We need better enforcement of our Immigration laws along with better border security, I support gay rights including the right to marry, Religion belongs in church not in government, The War on Terror is one of the biggest con games going, Government spending is out of control but I also believe tax rates need to be revised. Whatever I missed, ask.

    This.

Seriously, I don't watch network TV in general because the level of stupidity in almost all of it is offensive. They spend the majority of the time talking down to you.

Granted, this is probably relevant to the average viewer's IQ.
"Chaos... isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them.
And some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse. They cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Illusions.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is."

Of course that is the best approach but that doesn't mean that people can't discuss the show or voice their disapproval. I mean, it could just as easily be said that if you don't like people criticizing the show then don't pull up a thread about the show...
As it turns out, the Donner Party wasn't actually a "party" at all.

(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es in this case is definitely referring to the female dog. As they believe that the non-kosher are simply animals. Want to see supremacists, look that way.

Funny thing is that Christians believe they are the "chosen" people also. Jump! How High, Master?

The State has never been created by a "social contract"; it has always been born in conquest and exploitation.

Somehow I can't imagine that this show will be anywhere near as rough on Christians as, say, FOX is on liberals.
