GW Bush is now a former president and Dick Cheney is a former Vice President, but Halliburton is still making money on cost-plus military services contracts.

Boeing is one of my clients and I can sure you ... long term contracts far expand Presidents Terms.

    Why is this a surprise?

Halliburton was getting lots of government contracts before the Bush Admin. took power.

Halliburton was getting lots of government contracts while the Bush Admin. was in power.

Halliburton is getting lots of government contracts after the Bush Admin. left power.

The types of business they do and the needs for it have not changed based on what admin. is in power.

Also, cost plus contracts are very common in the defense industry. Virtually no company would ever agree to build military equipment on a fixed cost contract.

But the Left told us that Iraq & Afghanistan were only done at the behest of Halliburton by Bush & Cheney. Obviously untrue.

Either Obama fires them or everyone has to admit that Halliburton has done an acceptable job of what they do.

So you are saying that Obama could do nothing about the outrageous contracts? He took over GM and refused to pay the GM bond holders as is the law but he can't trample on Halliburton's rights? The company most hated by the liberal horde? Holder could arrest the CEO and Obama could declare Halliburton to be terrorists company and start bombing the homes of the employees.

Or maybe Halliburton is doing a great job for the money???
The Main Stream Media would destroy BH Obama in one minute if they would do their job for one second.

They are the in-house people to go to within the US military-industrial complex. They have established themselves, over decades of coddling and no bid contracts they have been awarded. So logically they can usually meet or beat any newcomer just for the fact they are already in place as if a separate branch of the government. A change over would be extremely expensive, and a bid on a contract would be obviously higher for anybody trying to break into the monopolized controlling interests of exclusive government companies like Halliburton who obtain favoritism from bought and paid for politicians on both sides of the aisle.

What is silly is this premise that since Obummer uses them too, they can only be considered legit, even though the companies ties with Bush/Cheney is obviously a conflict of interests. All this proves is Obummer is just as big a corporate arse clown as Bush was/is.
There are only two things wrong with this great nation of ours, democrats and republicans!

    Not necessarily in that order.
