Thread: People vote off reaction and not common sense

People are emotional creatures, so we tend to side with our emotions on a lot of issues in the world. but when it comes to President, we have to put emotion to the side and focus on the job at hand. Electing a President based on his track record, not his talk record. Meaning, Obama can't possibly win another election based solely off emotional pep rallys' can he? His track record is gonna have to show itself in order to be taken seriously in November.

Am I making sense at all here?

The election is going to be a pure propaganda campaign. If Obama wins it will be for the reason. Take women for example. they are manufacturing a "war on women", this stirs up emotions in people. And if anyone spends any kind of time talking politics to most women you'd know it isn't hard to lead them astray.

As bad as I don't want to believe you. I fear you are dead on point.

I wish it wasn't true but this is my observation. The only way to counter it is if the Republican contender has enough cash to expose them. That's our last hope, exposing them. Lies are not popular but these are carefully crafted and constantly repeated.

You're right. and here I am thinking shear truth and facts would win out, but the system is too corrupt and too far gone.

And when they aren't lying, they are presenting stories designed to make you feel a certain way. These are professionals. It is sickening knowing how tight of a grasp they have on the thoughts of the masses.

It is exactly on topic. The right has been manufacturing a 'war on religion' for some time. You can't bash the left and ignore the right, both sides are equally guilty.
