Thread: Race Relations Are Much Worse Under Obama

  1. Icon12 Race Relations Are Much Worse Under Obama

I totally agree ... after President Obama was elected ... people simply lost their F'cking minds. I have personally never seen such hate in my entire life, but then again I wasn't living before the 1960's

It's really sad, because most of the problems is all due to fear, and unfortunately that fear is not readily dissipated. The good news is, time is not on the side of fear.

Fear eventually dies off and the good of humanity lives forever.

    You have a nice Friday.

    Good for him.

I don't believe that overwhelming portion of opposition to Obama was based mainly on racism, but certainly some is.

Fear??? WTF??? The underlying cause of the opposition to Obama was no different than the underlying cause of the opposition to Pelosi & Reid. It was these clowns that started calling the opposition Nazis and racists for daring to challenge leftist politicians and their "Transformation of America" policies at townhall meetings. Fear had nothing to do with it. People were tired of being verbally assaulted by Democrats and their media buttboys. They're even more tired of it today.

There was certainly a significant degree of vitriol that was targeted towards Bush, and Clinton and other presidents for that matter. It does seem to me to be more pronounced since Obama was elected, but that may be bias in perception.

Obama: ‘If They Bring a Knife to the Fight, We Bring a Gun’

Amy Chozick reports on the presidential race from Philadelphia.

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

The comment drew some laughs and applause. But it also struck a chord with his Republican rival. John McCain’s campaign immediately accused the Democratic candidate of playing the politics of fear. They also mentioned that Obama said he would use a gun that would be illegal under Obama’s plans to cut down on illegal firearms.

“Barack Obama’s call for ‘new politics’ is officially over. In just 24 hours, Barack Obama attacked one of America’s pioneering women CEOs, rejected a series of joint bipartisan town halls, and said that if there’s a political knife fight, he’d bring a gun,” McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement.

Obama made the comment in the context of warning donors that the general election campaign against McCain could get ugly. “They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’” he said. A supporter yelled out a deep accented “Don’t give in!”

“I won’t but that sounded pretty scary. You’re a tough guy,” Obama said.

"If you think you can get over in this economy, just because you have a Morehouse degree, you are in for a rude awakening."
-Barack Obama (May 2013) Speech to Morehouse University Students in his fifth year as president

"We're portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots," said one Obama administration official who was part of the Benghazi response. "It's actually closer to us being idiots."

Is it necessary that I post the internet pictures, emails from paid Federal and State Goverment Employees and actual YouTube from Live GOP Town-halls?

Or will you just take my word for it?

Yes, it's like when a black family moves into an upper middle-class neighborhood that is primarily white. It inflames the racists and generally makes people feel uncomfortable.

It's that black family's fault when they get harassed or somebody tosses a flaming cross on their lawn.

“Social Security has nothing to do with the deficit. Social Security is totally funded by the payroll tax levied on employers and employees. If you reduce the outgo of Social Security, that money would not go into the General Fund to reduce the deficit, that would go into the Social Security Trust Fund. So Social Security has nothing to do with balancing the budget or lowering the deficit.” –Ronald Reagan

I've seen multiple conservatives on this very forum saying the "thug" deserved to die, that Zimmerman "did society a favor".
A few Conservatives are racist. But I venture to say that a much higher percentage of Liberals hate others who aren't like them, than Conservatives do.

The whole Conservative religious credo thingie is "love your neighbor". Cons pay a lot of attention to that crap. It even brainwashes them into loving their neighbor to a great extent.

The whole Liberal religious credo thingie is "there ain't no God, so if your neighbor ain't a liberal, your neighbor is a piece of ****." And in turn, Liberals are brainwashed by THIS thinking.

Hence the liberal guilt who wants to feed every poor person and black in the country AS LONG THE POOR AND BLACK VOTES LIBERAL.
