i do not understand the ignorance of some with respect to how venture capitalism works. Do these same people understand the term "risk capital" ? I would venture to say that they do not.
What have we become when we demonize success

Without that 1% this country would be Greece overnight. It's that simple.
The top 1% pay the majority of taxes and put up their own money to start
business.Yes,there is something known as venture capital like what Federal Express
started on.Fed X started basically on an Idea. The Hub theory as explained by an
Ivy leaguer. It was such a dynamic idea and made such sense it was put into action
based not on hard cash but Venture Capital thru a theory.
BTW that theory or concept was a paper submitted at Yale University and received
    a grade of " C ".
Just goes to show how fickle things can appear.

Why must everyone have this stupid adversarial relationship?

JOIN THE (*)(*)(*)(*)ING SYSTEM INSTEAD OF FIGHTING WHAT YOU CAN'T BEAT.

The "common man" is a dumb ass, fat ass, uneducated fool who doesn't see what is right in front of him. It's called "the corporate ladder" either climb it or be crushed under it.

There are only a very few viable industries left in this country. The rest will be either outsourced or automated. Government cannot stop it. Protectionism cannot stop it.

Join the system and quit being a bunch of whiners expecting politicians to somehow punish people for making money. That is what Americans do. We are an idea economy now, not an economy for wage earners.
You gotta be kidding right? I can believe that anybody could be so stupid as to suggest that joining the corruption is the answer to the corruption problem... if everybody is corrupt... then nobody is corrupt right? Its not like the problem will get anyworse when an even more corrupt person takes what you stole until it devolves into mass murder and genocide... oh wait thats pretty much what we have been doing all over the world right.. and now it has come back home to roost.

Yep that is sound and excellent advice Sir. Steal , embezzle, cheat, lie.. "the American way"
"There comes a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part, you can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies on the gears, and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus. And you've got to make it stop

Well then please enlighten us with your acumen. Especially in regards to how much risk is involved when PBGC dumps any potential losses on the back of the taxpayer.
    I look forward to specifics!

Only a fool would believe the Democrats are right about everything or to blame for everything. Only a fool would believe the Republicans are right about everything or to blame for everything.
