You aren't going to be reading anyone's thesis unless it was a published graduate thesis or the candidate wants to promote it- since the schools don't keep copies of undergraduate term papers.

Educational transcripts have no bearing on anything. Most people wouldn't even know what to do with them. In his shoes, I wouldn't reclease them either.

A Chicago-based blogger named Maria Warren -- whose writing suggested she was to the left of Obama -- recalled watching the candidate give a "standard, innocuous little talk" in 1995, in the Ayers' living room when Obama was running for the state Senate.

"They were launching him," Warren wrote, "introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread."

Ayers and Dohrn are simply the most visible of the far left supporters who propelled Barack Obama's early political career. The woman who touted Obama at the Ayers meeting, Alice Palmer, was herself a far left activist who was into community organizing like Obama.

Wondering whether the three may have crossed paths is not speculation. It is a fact that in 1989, Bernadine Dohrn and Michelle Obama were associates at the Chicago law firm of Sidley & Austin, when Obama joined the firm as a summer intern.

Barack also was essentially an employee of Bill Ayers for eight years, starting in 1995, the year the Chicago Annenberg Challenge was created to raise funds to help reform the Chicago public schools. One of the architects of the Challenge was none other than Professor Bill Ayers. Ayers co-wrote the initial grant proposal and proudly lists himself on his own website as the co-founder of the Challenge.

And who did William Ayers, co-creator of the Challenge, help select as the new director of the board for this program? Why, Barack Obama, of course. Obama was the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

Why would you say that, other than to baselessly diminish Obama's achievement?

For students who matriculated as of, or after, Fall Term 2008, the summa cum laude will be determined by the requirement of a 4.75 GPA. The honor is exact and does not involve "rounding off"; ie., a GPA of 4.749 does not result in a degree summa cum laude. If, in a given year, no student earns a GPA of 4.75 or higher, summa cum laude will be awarded to the student (or students in the case of a tie) with the highest overall GPA.

If there are years when no one earns a summa cum laude honor, I'd be surprised if more than a handfull do in any given year.

Granted John McCain was older and had a bout with skin cancer and Mc Cain released over a 1,000 pages of his medical records. But Obama admits to have been using drugs. Doesn't the public have the right to know if it was so bad, he may have needed medical or hospital care? Fair is fair. When you run on having an open administration and then do just the opposite, it doesn't look right.

And if Obama showed his grades and he had straight A's would that change anything? Absolutely not. You pathetic individuals will just move on to the next thing to try to discredit the President. It's a never ending game with the fear mongering obstructionist Republican's.

They apply a certain weight to grades and to the writing samples of the previous work a nominee did. To the credit of your suspicion...the law review, and Harvard as a whole, has been very open to affirmative action...so it may have gotten Obama in there...but you CANNOT graduate magna cum laude because of affirmative action. You cannot have any grades below 80%, if you have straight A's, you can graduate suma cum laude. So Obama likely had A's and B's.
