No, no, I'm (almost) completely serious. As worker's rights evaporate, ethnicities and homosexuals/lesbians become persecuted and the standard of living drops significantly and everyone who isn't wealthy already becomes a certified wage slave the right wingers might, just might start to realize something. What they might start to realize is what us lefties have done for our respective countries, they might even - and I know this sounds a little radical - actually realize the benefits of leftism for them personally and become leftists themselves. Then we can return to the political scene and combined with our new friends accelerate the rate of progress.

Anyone agree? Anyone (I know there will be lots) disagree?

I'm not sure I agree with you, but what the heck, what's happening now is the average middle class dolt who has been beaten down for a generation, just sits there and happily votes for the people beating him down and simply say's "thank you sir may I have another!" I'd like to think that a Romney presidency with a Tea Bagger Congress that destroyed America as we knew it would wake people up, but I'm not so sure? I can see them sleeping in their cars and eating squirrels and thinking that this is how it should be just because the market says so.

Okay, so you believe that Romney is worse on liberty...or just the economy?

Do you think that the bipartisan support for CISPA (worse than SOPA) was a good thing?--and while we're on that, I knew SOPA was a ruse to create indignation fatigue and that something worse was coming on its heels--

Clinton signed free trade with China and also NAFTA, robbed the SS fund and stocked it with IOU's, and I have yet to hear a dem outside of Kucinich bring up the FED. If you think anyone outside of Paul or Kucinich in either party isn't a traitor you're nuts.

The Dems are crap too, they are all right of center. What I fear with Romney and the Tea Baggers is that they'll actually try to shut things down and get rid of millions of workers, creating even more unemployment and way less services and go full bore to totally destroy whatever safety net is left. gut SS, gut Medicare, gut unemployment, gut food stamps...I hate welfare and foodstamps as much as any conservative, I hate people that are lazy and stay on that crap on purpose...but to gut all that without PURPOSELY creating jobs for the millions that want to work is irresponsible. I mean PURPOSELY, even if the market can't support it or the profit is not big enough, I mean even UNPROFITABLE, GOVT RUN endeavors, like massive infrastructure, like the stuff FDR did, I mean just do it so people can pay for food and a home. In all honesty, as technology developes further and faster, there will not be enough profitable jobs created by the market, and I'm not an (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) conservative who can say let them die.

The best thing lefties could do would be to follow Jim Jones' example. The 2nd best thing would be for all of you to move to Venezuela.
