Thread: Jew/Israel derangement syndrome

  1. Default Jew/Israel derangement syndrome

Seriously, get a life - come up with something more original. Jews have been a target for hate since the era of the crucifixion - so if any basement dweller with too much time on his hands wants to come up with someone to hate, then Jews or Israel would be the first thing to come to mind - there's no originality or creativity involved.

I agree with this. I mean, I don't raise the state of Israel or the Jewish people above any other state/people, but I do respect the little powerhouse (when she's not being a little jerk) and the Jews. I also like and respect Judaism.

    It's not about being original.

There are many people who are starting to realize what many well respected intellectuals of the last century have known for years.

Israeli zionism is the most oppressive, vindictive and evil force in the entire world.

Stop being ignorant and do the research for yourself.

You will find that the reason you started this very thread is a prime example of the efficiency of their guilt control tactics.

You are under the lying zionist spell, fool.

Why would you respect a book that preaches 1000 times more hatred than mein kampf?

So is it wrong to criticize Israel when it commits crimes?

Let's stop pretending the US Government is concerned about democracy and freedom of other nations. It does not even care for the lives of innocent civilians outside its borders and anyone who supports its actions is just as guilty. Let's not just pretend to be good like Hitler, but actually be good.

Of course not, but there are a few here that mask pure antisemitism with a cloak of Zionism. They usually end up claiming that Jews are behind everything bad everywhere.
The gun control crusade today is like the Prohibition crusade 100 years ago. It is a shared zealotry that binds the self-righteous know-it-alls in a warm fellowship of those who see themselves as fighting on the side of the angels against the forces of evil. It is a lofty role that they are not about to give up for anything so mundane as facts-- or even the lives of other people. ~ Thomas Sowell

Absolutely not. As a Jew, I criticize Israel. My mother hates when I do so. There is a difference between reasonable analysis and outright fabrication. One is based in reality, the other in fantasy.

Well, first of all, I said I respected the religion and the people, not the book.

For another, I don't have many problems with the book because it was written thousands of years ago. Thousands of years ago, people had a very different outlook on life than we do. And personally, I'm not a moral superiority-type that looks down on people of the past just because they were born into the time period they were born into.
