Thread: Too big to fail is quite a concept. We are completely at the mercy of big banks.

Let's beat a dead horse until it speaks.

Too big to fail means no consequences for any actions, complete immunity. It means that Vegas (I mean our elected government) just gave you an unlimited supply of chips to play as you please. It means that bankers rule the world, not the people through our own governments.

Yeah, I don't see that turning out very well. What are they going to do about all of these insolvent banks? I believe Max Keiser is correct here, they're going to centralize even more power into their unaccountable hands with the help of governments across the western world.

Government by the Banks for the Banks of the Banks ,is not "democracy" now ,what is the Solution ?

Would be Revolution of the socialist or working Class type,the ANTI-Calpitialist Ruling Class Type Revolution .As the national revolution is well, not apllicable to the centre of World Capitialist Imperialism.

Interesting post but this situation reeks of fascism, not necessarily capitalism. With a large collection of central power, it is always ripe for abuse. I believe there needs to be some decentralization if we wish not to be ruled by plutocracy. People are lazy, unaware, and will not hold their government accountable. How would you intend to install the goals of a socialist worker party movement? Elect another liar and thief?

Thank you for asking the marxist movement has an answer ,no elected official can earn more then a factory workers wage .They will have accomadation provided ,travel ect ,but their actual pay same as an average worker.

The current crop of careerists and lawyers would of course resign on mass ,if we don't have them on War crime trials and in jail of course awaiting sentencing.

But ,under a workers Government ,no higher then a factiory worker and no re-election after one term ,so everyone can be in the seat if they want to.

Of course as you wopuld know the higher form of socialism ,Communism wouldn't have a State or government ,but would be self regulating and classless.

Yeah right centralizing ever more hand in the power of a government that not only permitted this to happened but aided and abetted it at every turn over the last 80 years is the way to go.

Let's, in our ruah to judgement not forget that the banks weren't the only things that got bailed out.

think it has worked out very well, companies have failed and were not too big to fail, technology improved a lot after the split up, was a win\win

should of split up ms back in 2000 when they abused their monopoly imagine the innovation we would of seen
