Catholicism doesn't sound like something a liberal would readily glum onto. Do you know of any liberal Catholics? I sure don't. Better yet, if you did find a lib Catholic would you even want to befriend such a Christian infidel/charlatan?
So Catholics can't think for themselves and have to toe the Church's bottom line? No wonder people think so little of Catholics and the Church. Apparently non-Catholics place such a high standard on Catholics that they cannot deviate from the Church's teachings or are heretics to the faith. I have an idea--mind your own business.

Again, I think you're making a mistake, to equate masculinity with violence.

belief is what is important, not so much what you believe, for instance, an ordinary sugar pill without belief helps no one, but with belief it can cure your ills and it can be quite the amazing little pill - the magic really comes from within

I heard a lot of them say they would not vote for Romney because he's a Mormon. But then again, in recent weeks that has quieted a lot, so who knows?

What in the world are you talking about? Who says Catholics can't think for themselves....you? And who are these people that think so little of Catholics and the church....you? You do realize that its the Catholics that have the highest amount of religious laity in America to all the other religions, don't you? So I don't see (other than yourself) these people you claim to think so little of Catholics and the church. And I do mind my own business, which in this case happens to be standing up to yahoos, infidels, atheists and liberals who have nothing better to do than to rag on the Catholic church. Wonder which one if not all of those groups of people you relate to.
