    Well it doesn't - real happiness doesn't come from material possessions.

    Id have to agree with this. I think its bizarre that we encourage people to mutilate themselves like this. Im not saying it should be illegal but i do think that it should be treated as any other delusion. If i wanted to be a giraffe the moral thing to do would be to try to talk me out of it, instead of encouraging me to do it.
