Why are gays so obsessed with straight people?
Why are gays so concerned with whether or not straight people or Christians "like" or accept "them" - why does it matter to them what straight Christians say/think about homosexuality or gay marriage in their own personal lives - how is this any of their business? Just wondering here.

You don't see straight Christians obsessing over the fact that liberal gays don't agree with the Bible - the way you see gay activists groups go on witch hunts for anti-gay "hate speech", to the point that anyone who says anything remotely "homphobic" gets labeled a hate monger and whatnot.Originally Posted by Johnny-C

If you had a huge portion of the population telling lies about you and calling you evil and immoral and using their legal and political power to restrict your rights, wouldn't you be a little focused on them?

Perhaps the answer lies in the way people attempt to regulate the personal lives of homosexuals.
Certianly I would not want one group to dictate how I live or how I chose to form relationships with other consenting adults.

Marriage is a legal institution.
Marriage offers legal benefits.
Homosexuals seek those legal benefits that can only be obtained through marriage.
It is not that hard to understand.
