Seriously though, despite IBs antagonism there still are laws that are enforced against fraternization and innapropriate dress right?

I mean you couldn't just horse around like this out in the middle of the street could you?
yes, we have laws for hijab. they're more for women, men are almost free. almost all people here would keep hijab even if there were no force, but yeah, they are some that are against hijab. hijab is a deep cultural thing that was tried to be removed from iran in Rezashah's era, but after revolution, people wanted it back. with ahmadinejad's government, some severities applied to people. I don't agree with them either, but governments can't control people. people control governments. so people continued to wear what they wanted to. girls here won't unwear they're scarf till they trust you. this is accepted here.

And stoning is still possible right? I was under the impression it has been very rare in the last five or so years, but still happens or at least could happen.
we have laws for it, but no judge would rule to stone someone, unless she/he has done an unforgivable act. I've heard of two or three in my life. we (3rd generation of revolution) are strictly against this (even for once in years) and hopefully we can change such laws in future.

What does your government say about your new oil bourse on Kish?

I know Iran proper did not lose it's Internet when the cables were cut a few weeks ago but did Kish lose it's connections as has been reported?

Does your government tell the people there that we Westerners (particularly the US) will go to war with you to stop your oil bourse?

Do they tell the people that we Westerners (particularly the US) will go to war with you if you will not give us ready geographic access to the Caspian Sea oil reserves?

He's come here to Knowingly Deceive.

To Lie and apologize for the Ayatollahocracy.

Transparent BS.

His effort was knowingly Dishonest and Disingenuous... and he could not even answer the simplest truth.

I never heard our government or our TV our newspaper talking about war with US. they talk about probabilities of war according to what really happens, but I've never heard them talking about fictional issues. this is the first time that I heard such thing.

Default two questions

there is a concern in the USA that Iran would want to fill the political vacuum created by the departure of our military forces.
what are the chances that might happen, in your opinion ...
and from your unique viewpoint what suggestions would you have about the USA withdrawing from Iraq?

thanks.
I can't see how you have been rude (quite the opposite) and your perspective is sadly missing here.

So please don't go.

Having said that I can assure you that you will be viciously attacked here.

If necessary I suggest you fight back.

You will find both good friends and bitter enemies here.

This is a place bare knuckles political fighting, don't doubt that for a second.

a democrat iraq is better for iran, Iran has enough inside problems. but, it's not impossible. every country is seeking more power, that's an undeniable fact. I think if Iraqis can't stand for themselves, then everyone of their neighbors will try to own Iraq. this issue depends completely to Iraq's potentials of keeping his nation together.

I don't think sudden withdrawal would solve anything. it leaves Iraqi people with terrorists alone. a perfect program is needed for withdrawal. finally, Iraq should become independent, but it takes time. cooperation between Iran and US is the key to solve ME's issues.

I think there's always a better way to solve the issues. fighting with people, even enemies, makes them more hateful about you, and this solves nothing. surely I'll stand for my ideas, but that doesn't mean I should fight people.
thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

Many electric power plants, including in the US, are natural gas fired.

Clue for you einstein: when you don't know what you're talking about, best thing to do is shut up.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow, ..or it can crash! Be water my friend.
