yes, my own internet is filtered. porn sites, illegal and anti-regime propaganda sites and some sites that insult our religion are filtered.

Default Lots of questions, but here's a few

You're 20 years old. What sorts of generational differences exist between people of your age and your parents or grandparents? Do you view the world differently, and how important are older customs?

Which countries (outside of Iran) are most respected by your people (as a whole) and which are least respected?

What do most people your age do for fun/recreation?

Are there armed revolts against the government within the country. I remember hearing somewhere that there is a region in Iran that wants to become autonomous...

Also, whats the deal the Revolutionary Guard?

I understand that a significant part of the population (mostly the college educated) do not agree with their government's management of the country. Do you find this to be true? Liberty's last question is one that interests me as well.

The result:
Quote:
By the mid-19th century unique had developed a wider meaning, “not typical, unusual,” and it is in this wider sense that it is compared. The comparison of so-called absolutes in senses that are not absolute is standard in all varieties of speech and writing.

You are incorrect, per google the phrase mostly unique comes up with over 3 million hits making the use of the phrase not so unique. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

my generation is the third generation of revolution and it has deep deferences with 1st and 2nd. I try to list some:

1- we are more communicative with foreign people due to better knowledge of English language and being familiar with recent technologies.

2- this generation is a lot more informed about lots of things due to wide-spread availability of philosophical and political books during last decade.

3- more secular people can be seen among this generation.

4- my generation is about 50% of those who can vote and 30% of the whole population. so we have great affect on country's future.

5- older customs are extremely under question of younger people here.

6- younger intellectuals are extremely active in political issues, whether in favor or opposite to government.

7- more and more jobs are granted to younger people with university degrees everyday even without enough experience (including me), and we're advancing fast in science and technology due to this brave replacements.

US, Japan, China, South Korea and most of European countries, mostly by younger people. in general, our people are hospitable to foreign people. we (people like me) are studying the ways that led industrial countries to their current state of stability.

we go picnics, restaurants, parties, concerts, exhibitions, beaches, etc. sometimes just race with other cars in the streets! soccer is a greatly appreciated game in Iran, and we have a hot league here.
generally, what ever you think of!

they are some kurds called PKK that are fighting inside, but recently we won the inside fights with them. now they are mostly in Iraq and Turkey.
sometimes some bombings occur by a terrorist group called "monafeghin". they have killed many people and they've assassinated some important people like Sayad Shirazi, chief commander of revolutionary guards.

Quote:

revolutionary guards and the military service are the defensive force of Iran against foreign treats. revolutionary guard force is more powerful and more technological. it has the same branches as military service, and is directly under command of the supreme leader. most of Iran's advancements in military science comes from these guys. they're appreciated between iranian people.

ahmadinejad's government had no luck to keep his ratings, the conditions in Iran are exactly like the second period of bush's presidential. (economic disasters, wrong foreign policies, etc.)
