I agree with everything in the opening post, but isn't that how politicians have acted for... well, forever? Let's face it, as a rule, politicians are not the best examples of morality.

No, it isn't how things operate in the public sector. In actuality, those techniques are used for the backdoor politiking. The public shouldn't see this sort of thing, it leads to distrust in government. On the other hand I can finally say with justification, we've entered another Gilded Age.

The thing that scares me is all the seasoned Democrat leaders saying things like "I guarantee she'll be the one" (Pelosi) and last night on meet the press a New York Represent said basically the same thing. Is this in the bag for her, due to her insiders? Her entire demeanor has change to a very calm and collected Hillary right after the call for a delegate freeze. Like she knows something!!
