Seeing Benedict respect the Qur'an calling it precious makes me think less about his ways. I don't think arabs/persians are bad I think the religion of Islam is bad. I pray for their forgiveness very often as I see them as lost sheep.

Sure, people are people. Just like there is no such thing as a dog born bad, there is no such thing as a person born bad, aside from physical/mental defects. Its islam that is totally evil. Clearly and fortunately, not all who call themselves muslim are currently acting on that evil to its fullest. How many will do so when the right time for them comes and how many simply aren't true muslims (evil)?

It doesn't matter really. What is important is for the West to understand that islam can not be appeased. Peace with islam can not be achieved through compromise and tolerance. islam can not be mollified. It will take what the West gives it and demand more, always, and what isn't given they will take by force when they can. Just LOOK at what they are doing in France!
