Yes I'm well aware of all of this.

However I am not an advocate of war w/ Islam.

It is best not to turn into a monster when fighting a monster.

Our current military operations have already spread thin the ground forces components, plus war is probably the most vile form of human behavior there is...

Quite frankly, most Americans would rather watch Dancing with the Stars than defend anything.

I've grown a little weary of the few sacrificing for the many.

I haven't switched anything. It was a big story and made quite a few Danes nervous, but it was hardly a worldwide uprising.

We should not wait to do all we can to get Islam modernized, that is correct. And meanwhile, we must defend ourselves against the few crazy fundies who attack us. But advocating extermination of people whose only crime is that they have a different religion is the talk of Bin Laden.

Islam is not an Abrahamic religion...it is a psudo-idiological doctrine of authoritarian governance with a religious facade.

I've said quite the opposite. I wish to save the innocent victims of this idiology by freeing them from it's oppressive and deadly grip. By destroying this idiology and exposing it for what it is, we can save these people through education and free them to make choices of their own free will:

Equating Islam to any religion, Judaism, Christianity or any other for that matter is a sweeping generalization.

Like anything I could say could actually make these people more crazy than they already are...

I'm an 18 year veteran of the USAF Reserves...I was involved in Gulf War I and II and Afghanistan..

I've seen enough myself.

I've personally talked to many who follow the Qu'ran...their main fear is seeing a corrupt Western civilization effect their culture...

Their fears are identical to ours in some ways, they see a Western culture that permits all sorts of immoralities.

Extermination is certainly not the road to a common ground of tolerance.

You understand what dhimmitude is right? I don't think evevryone here is saying all Muslims are for the Muslim law taking over everything. I work with Muslim friends. What we are saying, is that some of those people won't stop until they institute Muslim law. You can try to "modernize" or "westernize" them all you want, but it ain't gonna take.
