I cannot believe the huge generalizations made in these comments. Do you know any muslims personally? The root of all terror is not islam. If you will is what happened at Virginia Tech not terror? it is simply put a suicide attack killing over 50. Is the KKK not a terror organization. Would you like me to list more? Well then! Now, did you know that both believe in one god? and that one god is the same god between both religions? ALLAH is a direct translation of god in arabic. In Farsi that is called KHODA and in english it happens to be called god. But all of them advocate one god. The differences are minimal and limited to the prohibition of drinking and gambling and eating pork in Islam and the fact that men are allowed to have up to 4 wives if all are treated equally. That was advocated for that time period when all men went to war leaving an unproportionate ammount of women without husbands.
Lastly, I would like to say that Islam is a religion 700 years younger than Christianity. 700 years ago, Christians were fighting between themselves constantly, going on religious crusades, PERSECUTING JEWS AND MUSLIMS ALL ACROSS EUROPE, leading mass killings of other religions that were state run. So I would like all of you to please consider everything in this post before making a generalization. Thank you

How could you generalize so cruelly, NO I AM NOT A MUSLIM as you must have already assumed. Islam is not a religion of terror, as all religions commit terror. Also, Islam is a religion 700 years younger than Christianity. 700 Years ago, Christians were killing off all Jews and Muslims, the Spanish were getting rid of their non Catholic polulation and war and terror were common. Also please get your facts straight as these two are nearly identical. First of all "Those who believe (in the Quran), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians...and (all) who believe in God and the last day and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." And secondly Islam preaches Jihad (direct translation A STRUGGLE) to convert those WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD! not christians or Jews. and "Jihad" has now been completely twisted and misinterpretted by radical islamists!
