It is so funny that so many people will read the title of this thread, think the worst, but not bother to read the argument in the first post, let alone the rest of this somewhat lengthy thread. This is something you all should do, take the time to read and examine the arguments on both sides and check out the links and the videos.

Personally, I think that some of the posters on this thread have shared some invaluable data and knowledge on the subject of Islam.

Likewise, I have not heard any cogent, thoughtful analysis/argument in these various posts which lays out a convincing case against my main thesis. Many posters don't even understand or know what the thesis of this thread is and yet they post some politically correct brainwashed nonsense and think they have made a point.

Tolerance is a good thing, and the only thing one should be intolerant to, is intolerance itself.

Fundamentally, intolerance begets violence. Islamic intolerance has in many parts of the world created violence against women, against homosexuals, against Jews, and against the West. Western tolerance has sought, to a large extent, to explain away Islamic intolerance as a product of Western hegemony. None of this is true, in my opinion.

All I want is to live in peace in the world. Iran, an Islamic state, seeks nuclear armaments, to what end? Iran sponsors Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran is training and arming people killing Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why? Neither region is offers anything to Iran, as a country. What could Iran possibly gain if Israel is destroyed? or if Afghanistan is once more under Taliban control. Hamas offers Israel violence. Why? At some point, you would think that Hamas would simply stop attacking Israeli's, would simply stop lobbing missles into Sderiot. Why continue to kill people? It seems to make no sense. Until you look at their religious ideology: Islam must dominate the world. Israel is a burr in the side of Islamic domination.

But it's not Hamas, and it's not the mullahs in Iran.

Really, it all boils down to Islam. It's the fault of governments run and controlled by a religious ideology which demands the subjugation of non-Islamic peoples, kafirs, or their deaths.

Political correctness will not solve this problem. If the West chooses to be polite, and turn a blind eye to reality, then man's struggle for freedom will be all the harder.

Don't make stupid assumptions about me. Furthermore, answer the question. What if you actually succeed in ending Islam, but that doesn't stop the fighting?

All Ibrahamic religions (that means Christianity, Islam and Jeudaism) are as idiotic as any other religion you can mention or imagine. They should all be destroyed, and the sooner the better.

The reason why is not the obvious harm they have done and for which there is no resaon to suppose they will not do so again.

Killing in the name of these religions is commonplace and their wars usually just wipe out a few million. This nis peanuts given humanity's current population.

This is not the reason these idiocies are really dangerous.

The reason they are dangerous is that they work to eradicate the only source of reliable information that we have.
