While a very few have come out and publically denounced terrorism and violent jihad, it is a VERY FEW and that is all the member to whom you were responding was pointing out... along with several salient facts that, to date, are uncontested.

Now if you feel his facts are in error, I say REFUTE 'EM... show him where he got it wrong, post the scripture from the Quran which requires Muslims to love their nieghbors and that killing non-Muslims is the fast track to hell... Show him video of tens of thousands of Muslims in the street protesting Jihad... Site Imams from around the world denouncing Jihad... surely if your implied position is correct, out of a BILLION Muslims, in the whole of the planet, there has to be SOME SIGN that Islam is peaceful... Something to set aside the FACT that of all of the hot wars going on at this moment on this planet the VAST MAJORITY have Islam on one side...

Don't just sit there at the house and pretend that you know something that you DO NOT KNOW and expect adults to let you get away with the PC nonsense.

Look... I voted for GW FOUR TIMES... twice for Gov of Texas and twice for President and I couldn't disagee with him more on this one... When he declared Islam the "Religion of Peace" I was slack jawed for 20 minutes... and if HE came to the house and asked me my opinion, he'd get just marginally more respect on this issue than you did...

Of course, Christianity is merely the recognition that Christ is the Son of God and that through Christ one can recieve God's grace... Adulterers, who leave this world unrepentent for their adultery are going to beg to be stoned by their pious neighbors, when they realize that their going to spend eternity in agonizing torment... and the ATHEISTS... Well that goes without sayin'...

But with regard to the out of context scripture... Sis, are you sure that these were commands from God to the whole of the universe... or was it more of a local thing? Also, to the best of your knowledge, is that the lastest revision; meaning for Christians, was that the last word on such issues? Seems to me, something New... some revised testament was mentioned somewhere... Is it even possible for someone to be a Christian and not recognize the contexts of the laws as they were laid down... I mean God may have commanded a given tribe to not eat shellfish... Is it your impression that everyone, even those not of that tribe, living at that time, perhaps near a sewer full of shellfish, that we should all avoid the little hard shell Shiite filters? I dunno... But I mean since you're so familiar with the Holy Bible that you're quoting scripture and all; surely your command of this divine reference can enlighten us all on these humble points of interests.

Perhaps you're aware of a "New Quran" of which you'd like to inform us, wherein it may compel Muslims to take another course...
