Koans are simply riddles/paradoxes which expose truth through their examination. But, in any case, what does whether they are Asian or not have to do with the topic at hand?

You are claiming that Jesus was a buddhist.

I don't accept that there really is such a thing as a radical muslim. There are muslims who have committed terrorism already and there are ones who have not. But, since islam itself is a terrorist ideology bent on world domination, they are all by definition radical if they call themself muslim. Saying "radical muslim" is just like saying "radical nazi."

Actually, I claimed he was a Zen Master. I don't see why it is ridiculous. Do you agree or disagree that Jesus spoke many koans, or riddles/paradoxes if you prefer? I quoted several that did NOT come from Jewish tradition. There is substantial evidence that Jesus COULD have had been exposed to Zen as the philosophy had made its way to areas that Jesus was known to have traveled to in his early life.

Zen is a form of buddhism. By claiming Jesus was a Zen Master you are saying that he was a buddhist.



He needn't have been exposed to buddhism to talk the way he did. Unless you have decent evidence, there is no reason to continue claiming the Jesus was a buddhist.

Catholicism is a form of Christianity, but it is not the same thing as other forms of Christianity. Zen is not the same thing as Buddhism. I certainly am NOT claiming Jesus was a Buddhist. These are distinctly different things.

The only evidence I can give is historical evidence that he may/could have been exposed to the philosophy and the extreme similarity of many of his words to Zen along with the fact that there is NO precedent for them in Judaism.

As I said, it is not provable that Jesus was a Zen Master and it is not my goal to do so. I merely enjoy discussing Christ's words.

Zen is a form of buddhism. There are plenty of websites which you can check that confirm this fact.




By claiming that Jesus was a Zen Master, you are also claiming he was a buddhist.

Analogies would be:
A Rabbi is a Jew
A Priest is a Catholic
A Pug is a dog
A Zen Master is a Buddhist
