Catholics and black liberation theologians are both Christians, supposedly. It doesn't mean they are the same thing.

Trust me, my dear, Zen is a subset of Buddhism.

And if you don't trust me, do some googling.

Haha, I have been practicing Zen for a decade. It is a branch off from Buddhism. For you to say its the same thing as Buddhism is to say black liberation theology is the same thing as Catholicism. Regardless, this is completely off topic. You can call it whatever you want.

If you examine the words of Jesus, they line up very well with the philosophy of Zen:

a philosophy which emphasizes meditation and the ability to view life “in-the-moment.” The Zen life is characterized by humility, labor, service, prayer and gratitude; it disdains the pursuit of worldly accomplishments and acknowledges that life’s pain and suffering often comes from material preoccupation and desires.

Is it a question of Race or of Geography?

It has nothing to do with what I call it and has everything to do with what it is.

I never denied that and even offered a couple books to read concerning the similarities. I also explained why there is a similarity between the two.

Yes, you did sort of. You said they were both true. I agree. In fact, I don't view there to be any difference between Zen and Christianity. I merely feel "Christians" have misinterpreted Jesus pretty severely.

There is substantial evidence that Jesus COULD have had been exposed to Zen as the philosophy had made its way to areas that Jesus was known to have traveled to in his early life.
Did he get there on his "motorbike" if he did I bet it was a "honda Goldwing"
