Clearwater is Scientology Central. Not a standard I'd use to compare things. There are plenty of nice Scientologists, but Clearwater simply isn't a normal town.

Notice that most of the others involve cities that don't actually produce anything? They're either suburbs, vacation resorts or towns whose main industry is government -- the military, in the cases of Colorado Springs and San Diego.

Like red states, it appears red cities can't survive without government welfare.

Really have fun in Colorado springs, obviously it is vastly superior to those liberal crime beds!!
Colorado Springs is one the most beautiful and desireable medium cities around. I'll take it over Flint, Gary, Detroit, etc any day.

They are suburbs, few are vacation resorts. But you could say the same of SFO & NO, tourism is their main industry. San Diego has a lot of business outside of the military as does SLC, Mesa, Boise and others. There are a few nice cities on the liberal list, but far dominated by dismal ones like Gary, Flint & Detroit!

Icon15 Hmm...

How come none of you have mentioned any cities in Texas or New England? Are they too moderate or something?

Obviously when you compare the worst liberal cities against the best conservative cities, the conservative cities will win! That is like comparing the worst player on the red sox, and the best player on the royals, and saying the royals are better!

But in the spirit of fairness, let's compare the best each has to offer! And what do you know, liberal wins!!! More proof of the superiority of liberals!!!

Since there are no greatly successful conservative cities, we know how far a conservative society can go (the best a close-minded society can do is stay rural and isolated from global reatlities).

However, the leaders of all those companies are almost completely conservative
