I am a firm believer in freedom of speech. But it is up to parents to decide what they want their kids to see and hear. NOT THE GOVERNMENTS. I find it odd that parents want the government to decide what their kids can and cant see but the same ones will sue a school for teaching about evolution. If you care what your family sees then take a more active role in it. I would like to know what everyone thinks of the FCC. Whether it is good or evil.

So you have no problem if I have sex on my front lawn which is right next to a school? Since of course it's my property and I can do what I want on it!

But yeah, I think we have the technology to control what shows can and cannot be watched on a certain TV. The video game industry has been very successful in self regulating. You can setup your kid's Xbox so that games with a certain ESRB rating won't be able to get played on it (without the parents pin code). Parents have access to all the tools they need to control what their kids see from a mass media stand point.
