Yep...much like Reagan, as the Democrat party moved to the left and fell off the cliff it left Heston and some of its members behind. I like Arnold's comment the best, that they remind him too much of the communists when he lived in Austria.

Mr. Heston served a stint in the USAF.

He was a radio operator on the B-25 Mitchell.

*Salute* to Mr. Heston.

Addendum:
Technically Army Air Force at Heston's time of service.

Ageist?

No.

Anti-gun? No. I just want my municipality to do what works for it, and let virginia or florida's problem with guns be virginia or florida's problem.

The man was crazy.

Moreover, his political advocacy is emblematic of the idiocracy: like Reagan and Ahnold, he's a symbol of the decline of critical discourse in this country, in favor of meaningless, glossy, rhetoric.

Look, I understand the customary thing would be to feign a gush of well-wishes to the dead man, but, I'm just not that dishonest.

I respect his tenacity.

That is all.

Indeed.

I spend most of my time here asking people to prove the whacky things they say.

Discourse would be preferred, but it's impossible to engage in such with liars.

I spend my time here arguing what I believe, and debunking fallacies.

You do essentially the same thing, my friend.
