I'm not: I'm blaming them for advocating what they advocate.

It's disgusting that we have a higher fire-arm death rate than countries like yemen.

And it's gun-advocates who perpetuate it.

It's humorous to me that conservatives revere actors with alzheimers as their leaders and spokesmen.

There are close to 150 million guns, or something like that, in the U.S. It would be impossible to track them all down and ban them. It is what it is. America likes guns.

The NRA promoted safe hunting classes and responsible gun ownership. I really don't see why that is a problem.

I'm not suggesting limits on safe/legal ownership of firearms.

I'm suggesting limits on bulk purchases, and closing gun-show loopholes for background checks.

Two necessary laws that are essential to allowing Florida and Virginia's lax-gun laws from impacting New York.

I do not doubt the sincerity of your annecdotes, but they do not represent a consensus.

One of the many reasons I would never suggest that as a possibility.

What we can do is prevent gun trafficking, and close background-check loopholes.

Like the NRA, who keep the gun-show loopholes in place.

To say nothing of states who don't enforce mandates of current law; like in virginia, where a kid who was declared insane and a danger to himself in others in a court of law, was able to purchase two guns and go on a shooting rampage.

Florida's gun laws aren't particularly lax. I think you might be referring to Alabama and Mississippi, which DO have lax gun laws. And, the NRA has NOT opposed changing those laws in regards to bulk purchases. These are STATE laws, not federal ones, for the record.

It's interesting that, in fact, your post is taken almost word for word from this article:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...wuspols122.xml

I'll point out that our laws towards purchasing firearms ARE NOT LAX in Florida. The Telegraph's article is critical of our "shoot first and ask questions later" law, a law I happen to support.

Do more research, please.

Reagan was very good at critical discourse. We can look at some of the current members of the house and senate to describe the decline of critical discourse like Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid...

I guess (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) Clooney was not a fan of Chuck.....pathetic loser.

"Actor George Clooney joked about Heston having Alzheimer's Disease. When questioned, Clooney said Heston deserved whatever was said about him for his involvement with the NRA." -

pulled from Wikipedia.

I would submit Robert Byrd, James Inhofe, Adam Putnam, Boehner and blunt to that list.

Understand, my friends, that while I'm certainly a partisan, I'm also a realist.
